Lockdown Poem (For The Ones Stuck At Home)

Funded with a Banyule Arts and Culture Quick-Response Arts Grant in 2020. 
The Lockdown poem, originally called “For the ones stuck at home” is a touching short film inspired by the 2020 and 2021 lockdowns in Melbourne (and globally). Written by Fleassy Malay and filmed by Damien Jordan the footage was all filmed on the artist allocated 1 hour outside time each day. All people featured in the film were communicated with remotely and filmed consensually through their home windows for COVID safe practice.

In 2023 the film won Best LGBTQIA+ Film at the People of Passion short film awards in Melbourne.
